YOUR PAYMENT AUTHORIZES AAA AUTO TRANSPORT INC. TO USE THIS CREDIT CARD INFORMATION FOR VEHICLE SHIPPING COSTS ONLY AND SERVES AS VERIFICATION THAT VEHICLES TRANSPORTED ARE INSURED BY THE MOTOR CARRIER, AS MANDATED BY THE U.S. FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. FOR HAWAII AND ALASKA VEHICLES, MARINE INSURANCE IS EXCLUDED.


THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT TO BE CONTAINED WITHIN THE VEHICLE(S) AT ANY TIME. EXPLOSIVES, GUNS, AMMUNITION, FLAMMABLE PRODUCTS, NARCOTICS, OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, NEGOTIABLE OR LEGAL PAPERS, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, JEWELS, FURS, MONEY, OTHER ARTICLES OF UNUSUAL VALUE, LIVE PETS, LIVE PLANTS OR CONTRABAND.


AAA AUTO TRANSPORT INC. AND/OR THE APPROVED CARRIER WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT, DAMAGE, OR LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY. AUTO TRANSPORT MOTOR CARRIERS ARE NOT LICENSED, BONDED OR INSURED FOR THE SHIPMENT OF HOUSEHOLD GOODS AND PERSONAL ITEMS, INCLUDING UPGRADED STEREO EQUIPMENT & COMPUTERS. ITEMS PLACED IN VEHICLE(S) ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL CHARGES BY THE MOTOR CARRIER. PLEASE ADVISE THE MOTOR CARRIER PRIOR TO PICKUP IF THERE ARE ANY ITEMS IN THE VEHICLE(S).


IF THE VEHICLE(S) IS RENDERED FOR SHIPMENT AS INOPERABLE, OR AS OPERABLE AND LATER BECOMES INOPERABLE, A MINIMUM OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS SERVICE FEE WILL BE ADDED TO THE TRANSPORTATION CHARGES. IF A VEHICLE(S) IS OVERSIZED, LOWERED, CUSTOMIZED OR NON STANDARD IN ANY WAY, ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY APPLY. PLEASE ADVISE THE MOTOR CARRIER OF ANY ALTERATIONS OR UPGRADES TO VEHICLE(S) PRIOR TO PICKUP.


AAA AUTO TRANSPORT INC. SHALL USE ITS BEST EFFORTS TO ARRANGE TO HAVE VEHICLE(S) PICKED UP AND DELIVERED BY OUR OWN FLEET OF CARRIERS OR BY ONE OF OUR APPROVED CARRIERS WITHIN THE ESTIMATED WINDOW OF TIME. THE MOTOR CARRIER MAY ARRIVE EARLIER THAN THE ESTIMATED TRANSPORT TIME. AS IS STANDARD IN THE MOTOR FREIGHT INDUSTRY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO PROVIDE ESTIMATED TRANSPORT TIMES, BASED ON COMPANY AVERAGE FOR EACH ROUTE, NO TRANSPORT TIME IS GUARANTEED. THE SHIPPER UNDERSTANDS THAT THE MOTOR CARRIER IS SUBJECT TO DELAYS BEYOND IT'S CONTROL, DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES SUCH AS AND NOT LIMITED TO, WEATHER, ROAD CONDITIONS, MECHANICAL PROBLEMS, WEIGHT STATION AND CHECK POINT DELAYS, ETC. AUTO RENTALS WILL NOT BE HONORED FOR ANY REASON.


ANY PROBLEM REGARDING A DELIVERY, MUST BE PROPERLY NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT OR BILL OF LADING WHILE THE DRIVER IS PRESENT. THE SIGNING OF BILL OF LADING AT DESTINATION WITHOUT IMMEDIATE NOTATION OF ANY DAMAGE SHALL BE EVIDENCE OF SATISFACTORY DELIVERY OF VEHICLE(S), REGARDLESS OF WEATHER OR TIME OF DAY OR DIRTY CONDITION OF VEHICLE, SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECEIVER FOR ANY REASON.


ALL CLAIMS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MOTOR CARRIER AND MUST BE MADE IN WRITING BY THE RECEIVER WITHIN SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS OF DELIVERY IN ORDER TO BE HONORED AND RESOLVED BY THE MOTOR CARRIER IN A TIMELY MANNER. FEDERAL REGULATIONS AND INSURANCE GUIDELINES REQUIRE THAT ALL OUTSTANDING FREIGHT CHARGES BE PAID BY OR AT TIME OF DELIVERY WITHOUT ANY DEDUCTIONS FOR ANY REASON.


IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER/SHIPPER/RECEIVER TO READ, REVIEW AND SIGN, THE ASSIGNED MOTOR CARRIER BILL OF LADING/INSPECTION REPORT AT PICKUP AND DELIVERY. PICK UP AND DELIVERIES ARE DOOR TO DOOR UNLESS RESIDENTIAL AREA RESTRICTIONS APPLY, SUCH AS TRUCK WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS, OVERHANGING TREES, STEEP HILLS, CUL-DE-SACS, ETC. THE VEHICLE OWNER SHALL, IN THEIR ABSENCE, DESIGNATE A PERSON TO ACT AS THEIR AGENT AT THE POINT OF PICK UP AND/OR DELIVERY, IF FOR ANY REASON THEY ARE UNAVAILABLE. IF THE SHIPPER IS UNAVAILABLE AT PICK UP AFTER ATTEMPTS OF NOTIFICATION, A DELAY IN PICK UP MAY RESULT. IF THE RECEIVER IS UNAVAILABLE AT DELIVERY AFTER ATTEMPTING NOTIFICATION OF ARRIVAL, VEHICLE(S) WILL BE DELIVERED TO A TERMINAL AT DRIVER'S DISCRETION, AND ANY ADDITIONAL STORAGE AND/OR REDELIVERY CHARGES ARE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY.


CHANGES OR ALTERATIONS TO PICK UP OR DELIVERY TIMES, AND LOCATIONS BY THE CUSTOMER AFTER ORDER SUBMISSION AND VEHICLE(S) SCHEDULING, MAY CAUSE A DELAY IN TRANSPORT AND ADDITIONAL CHARGES MAY APPLY. THE REMAINDER BALANCE OF TRANSPORTATION FEE MUST BE PAID ONLY IN THE FORM OF CASH OR CASHIER CHECK TO THE MOTOR CARRIER DRIVER AT TIME OF DELIVERY. ANY DISPUTE INVOLVING THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY AAA AUTO TRANSPORT INC. OR THE DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES SHALL BE RESOLVED IN A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE CALIFORNIA WHERE GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION LAW & THE LAW OF CALIFORNIA SHALL APPLY.

 

SHOULD THIS ORDER BE CANCELED BEFORE BEING ASSIGNED TO A CARRIER, FOR ANY REASON, AN ADMINISTRATIVE CANCELLATION CHARGE OF TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS PER VEHICLE WILL BE ASSESSED. IF A CANCELLATION OCCURS AFTER THE ORDER HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO A CARRIER AND A SPACE RESERVED FOR THE VEHICLE(S), A ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR ADMINISTRATIVE CANCELLATION CHARGE PER VEHICLE WILL BE ASSESSED. REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN ONE BUSINESS DAY OF WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF CANCELLATION FROM SHIPPER. A RETURNED ITEM FEE OF TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS WILL BE ASSESSED FOR ANY RETURNED CHECKS. ANY ALTERATIONS OR CHANGES BY THE CUSTOMER TO THIS STANDARD ORDER FORM/SHIPPING AGREEMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR ALLOWED.
